The honorable Vui Masinamua has accepted the request from the SSIG Global Council to be the Agent in Samoa for all operations that will be happening there in the future. The SSIG Global council were happy to talk to Vui Masinamua during their Council Meeting and he accepted the request with a positive statement that was reflective of the mood of the discussion. He understood that it was a very important step in SSIG Global's efforts to establish more of a footprint in Samoa as the elections for 2021 are getting closer.

The President of SSIG Global Namulauulu Albert Ainuu and the Vice President Manufui Nielsen Petersen were able to discuss with Vui in past weeks the need for a person in Samoa to be the contact for all future endeavours that SSIG Global has in mind. Namulauulu was very enthusiastic with this selection and Vui's acceptance. he stated that we now are able to make things happen in Samoa on behalf of the SSIG Global organization and it's members. Manufui Nielsen petersen has been instrumental in making this happen and also commented on how the plans of SSIG Global can now move forward in Samoa.

SSIG Global Los Angeles is organized and Tonu Leituala is the President
SSIG New Zealand have their Annual General Meeting and elect Manufui Nielsen Petersen President
The SSIG Global Chapter of Los Angeles California is now organized and operating with new leaders. On May 25, the organization met and appoint Tonu Leituala as the President of SSIG Global Los Angeles. His Vice President is Faaloto Vaa. The secretary is Tala'i Tumanuvao-Smith and the treasurer is Foai Tanuvasa.
​
The organization has begun to implement an education program call the Community Education Units. These CEUs will go out to various churches and organizations for the purpose of educating them on LTRA 2008 and other issues that are of concern to Samoans in Samoa and also those living abroad.
​
One of the most encouraging parts of the Los Angeles organization is the active participation of the Pastors including Sepulona Tanuvasa. These coupled with the broadcast station of Siufofoga ole Taeao Fou in Long Beach, have awoken the Samoan community in Los Angeles on the plight facing our people in Samoa. This is a great start for Los Angeles which is perhaps one of the most populated cities in the USA.

SSIG Global New Zealand held their Annual General Meeting and elected new officers. The President is Manufui Nielsen Petersen, the Vice President is Toa Tavita Gafoi, Secretary is Tupa'i Marcheta Sanft-Levy, the Assistant Secretary is Sina Atoatoa Haketeyama. The Treasurer is Leota Lealamanua Sao with Tiava'asu'e Falefatu Tuilimu as the Assistant Treasurer and the Legal Counsel is Finai Bernie Ah Voa.

SSIG Global queensland have elected new officers savea levale lio is the president
SSIG Global USA had a change of leadership due to Muaausa Bert McKenzie stepping down due to family obligations. In his place the Vice President Tuilaepa Faafetai Su'a has become the new President of the SSIG global USA and he has appointed Salamasina Magalei to be the Vice President and Treasurer is still Kalala Foxworthy. The Secretary will be appointed soon.

SSIG Global Queensland held their AGM or Annual General Meeting in May and voted for the President and officers. They selected Savea Levale Lio to be the new President for SSIG Global Queensland. The Secretary is Lilomaiava Solomona Ulu with Tina Saleufi as the Assistant Secretary. The Treasurer is Victoria Lana Sanft and the assistant Treasurer is Faamatuainu Taualai. They will be selecting a new Vice President next.
